How to join City government meetings

City Council. Library Trustees. School Committee. Not to mention the City's roughly 30 Boards, Committees, and Commissions.

Here's how you can figure out which meetings YOU want to be a part of:

• Calendar: Go to Watertown's home page. (Bookmark it to make it easy to get to next time.) Click "Calendar" toward the top of the page. Pick the view you want by clicking weekly, monthly, or "agenda". Click to copy any meeting of interest into your calendar.

• Meeting agenda & materials: Click a meeting that interests you and then click the bolded words "Meeting Details". You'll see the agenda pop up. Click the tab "Agenda Items & Files" (top left) to get the materials. The Minutes tab will be blank for upcoming meetings, and will show minutes for meetings in the past.
